About Gridline Operations

We make complex operations easier to see, shape and improve.

Gridline Operations is an independent consultancy and software studio for organisations moving, storing and supplying goods across multiple sites.

Why we exist

Built for the distance between systems and shifts.

Supply chains depend on countless decisions made in the middle of a shift: where stock goes, which load moves first, what to do when a promise slips. Too often the tools that support those decisions are split across disconnected screens, spreadsheets and workarounds.

Gridline Operations was formed to close that gap. We bring product thinking, data engineering and operational understanding into one small, accountable team. We design software around how work moves, then make the important signals easier to share and act on.

Our work is deliberately practical: fit the existing environment, earn trust with the people using it and make improvement measurable rather than theatrical.

How we work

Principles for a system
people can rely on.

01 / CLOSE TO WORK

Start where work happens.

We learn from the people handling orders, inventory and exceptions—not only from process diagrams.

02 / MAKE IT LEGIBLE

Define the signal.

Measures have clear definitions and visible context so teams can understand what the number means.

03 / BUILD IN STEPS

Earn the next release.

Focused delivery lets users test assumptions early and lets sponsors see progress before the big reveal.

The studio / six people

Small team. Shared responsibility.

Product, engineering, design and delivery working together with your internal experts.
